Byelorussian Steel Works (RUE "BMZ") - is a unitary enterprise of the young Byelorussian metallurgical industry, belonging to the group of modern metallurgical mini-plants of European type. During the last twenty years it has been one of the trustworthy steel makers. RUE BMZ is a national property and it has been registered by national list as an enterprise with high technology production.
It is well-known that the plant was designed, erected and equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment and technology, with the following commissioning of production capacities, by European firms on a contractual, "turn-key" basis.
The use of advanced global experience and state-of-the-art technologies in the process of the plant erection and development, allowed us to create in Zhlobin a unique industrial complex. Nowadays RUE BMZ is a modern enterprise corresponding to the world criteria of science-technical progress, regarding available power, level of production process automation and science intensity of the technological processes.
RUE BMZ is an export-oriented enterprise and along with other industrial enterprises of our country, it makes up the basis of economical potential and security of Belarus. Plant's export of marketable products exceeds 85%. BMZ exportes its steel products to more than 50 countries of the world wide, and its trade mark is well-known on the market of steel products.
