Steel cord

RUE "BMZ" steel cord is used by the most known tire producers of the world

Steel cord is used as a reinforcing material in production of tires for passenger cars.

At the international market Byelorussian tire cord range is represented by 75 types classified according to the following criteria:

Type of construction:

• general tire cord;
• open tire cord (OC);
• tire cord with linear contact of components (CC);
• high elongation tire cord (HE).

Strength characteristics:

• standard tire cord;
• high-tensile tire cord (HT);
• super-high-tensile tire cord (ST)

Lay direction:

• left-side twisting (S);
• right-side twisting (Z);
• crossed twisting (S/Z, Z/S);
• one-side twisting (S/S, Z/Z).

Tire cord is supplied on spools BS40, BS60 and BS80 in accordance with Belarussian Norms 400074854 and according to customers' specifications.
