Eaton corporation, USA, recognized Byelorussian Steel Works as a premier supplier
Byelorussian Steel Works was honored as a premier supplier of the American industrial manufacturer EATON corporation based on the results of 2005.
REGNUM Information Agency correspondent tells that Nikolai Andrianov, BMZ Director General, announced this at his arrival in Minsk on March 31st. According to Mr. Andrianov “BMZ” is enlisted in the “super league” and has the right to double or triple the volume of its supplies and gets the priority in price formation. “Last year the amount of supplies was around 7 thousand tons, this year it will be approximately 10 thousand tons. In a few years the works increased steel supplies to the USA in money terms up to 80 million dollars” pointed out Mr. Andrianov. “This award grants the Byelorussian works the right to start deliveries to Brazil,” continued Mr. Andrianov. “This is the only plant uncovered by our supplies. They strongly protect their steel producers from European manufacturers. We shall deliver our first products to the Brazilian market within 1,5 months,” he underlined.
American Industrial Corporation EATON has about 200 plants worldwide and approximately 60 thousand employees. According to the results of 2005 EATON capitalized over 11 billion US dollars. EATON cooperates with 38 thousand suppliers of different types of production BMZ is EATON’s strategic partner and its share in the market of hydraulic hoses (used for American shuttles filling up, REGNUM remarked) reaches 65%.
