Rolling production

 

Continuous wire mill 150 -   production capacity is more than 350 thousand tones of rolled products:

  • heating furnace with walking beam;
  • mill includes 16 rougher and intermediate stands,
    10-standswire block;
  • two-stage cooling line;
  • collection, packing and weighting area.

Continuous light section mill 320 - production capacity is more than 700 thousand tones of hot rolled and thermo strengthened rolled products:

  • heating furnace with walking beam;
  • 20-standmill;
  • notched cooling bed;
  • straightening, cutting, packing and weighting area.

Medium section reversing rolling mill 850 - production capacity is more than 500 thousand tones of rolled products:

    • heating and reheating furnaces with walking beams;
    • duo- stand with hot saw;
    • red - tipe cooling bed;
    • retarded cooling pits;
    • finishing   line,   including   straightening   machine,   shot-blasting
    • machine for surface defects elimination, grinding unit for surface
    • defects, cold-cutting saw, packing and weighting area.
    Repair and preparation of processing equipment area, electrical equipment and machinery repair shops. Finished product warehouse.

    Rolling production

    The rolling production consists of three rolling mills which include the complex of equipment for high quality finished products.

    The continuous 20 - stand rolling mill 320 for small sections is designed for production of hot rolled and thermostrengthened reinforcing bars diam. 10 - 40 mm from concast billets 125x125 mm, angles from 20x20 mm up to 50x50 mm, channels 6,5 mm as well as rounds of different diameter, hexagonal, square and flat steel products. The slitting process is used for rolling of material 10 -16 mm (longitudinal cutting of material in stand).

    The technology of screw rebars was developed. The rolling mill consists of heating furnace for billets heating, thermostrengthening line, cutting and cooling section, finishing line.

     

    On reversing rolling mill 850 the rounds of diam. 80 - 150 mm, including the range in inches, as well as square billets of 100x100 mm and 125x125 mm are produced from concast blooms of 250x300 mm.

    The concast blooms are heated in reheating furnace consisting of 7 zones. Besides, there is a heating furnace consisting of 4 zones for preheating of cold - charge blooms to optimize charging mode and use of rolling mill capacity.

    For preparation of goods for shipment and quality control the technological complex of rolling mill includes finishing line consisting of equipment for surface and internal defects control, scale remover and conditioning device, cutters, equipment for marking and packaging.

    Preparation of rolls and maintenance of technological equipment is carried out in a special workshop.

    A new 16 - stand automated rolling mill 150 commissioned in September, 2000 consisting of 10 - stand finishing bloomer and two stage cooling line is designed for concast and hot rolled billets 125x125 mm of high carbon, structural and low alloyed steel grades, high quality steel for steel cord production, wire rod diam. 5,5-14 mm as well as hot rolled rebar diam. 6-12mm.
